Permanently Delete Unwanted Files with File Zapper. The SecureClean File Zapper acts like a super-charged recycle bin to completely overwrite and shred computer files. You can easily and permanently delete unwanted files with a simple drag and drop into the File Zapper icon on your desktop.

The way that file zapper works is not to just delete the Windows file reference information for a file (which is what normally happens in the normal Windows file deletion process) but it goes to the location on the disk where the file was stored and writes the character "0" over the data. This means that the deleted file has been totally wiped from your computer and cannot be recovered. File zapper gives you total assurance that deleted actually means "permanently deleted" and gone from your computer. It's just like shredding electronic documents.
